Randy is a registered architect in the state of Washington and a member of Seattle’s AIA chapter.  He has a passion for finely detailed craft and loves straddling the line between maker and designer.  As an experienced Building Information Modeling (BIM) specialist, he finds innovative ways to resolve complex construction scenarios and provides intricate visualization to clearly communicate solutions for a positive and quality outcome.

After earning his degree from Iowa State University, Randy moved west to Seattle in 2008 to launch his architectural career. Along the way, he refined his craftsmanship skills at the SCCC Wood Technology Center, deepening his expertise in materials and construction. His diverse portfolio includes large-scale multifamily residential, commercial, educational, and theater projects.

Randy thrives in dynamic environments that foster creativity, technical expertise, and hands-on problem-solving. He enjoys finding innovative, client-centered solutions and takes a thoughtful, exploratory approach to design challenges. Passionate about community-oriented architecture, he is committed to projects that preserve and enhance history, culture, and the environment.

Outside of work, Randy enjoys painting, performing improv, cooking, and camping—fully embracing the adventurous spirit of the Pacific Northwest.
