Ford has been involved in the building trades since 2020 and joined the Mētis team in 2022. A long-standing fascination with how things are constructed naturally led to a career in carpentry, where craftsmanship and problem-solving intersect daily. Ford specializes in framing and finish carpentry, bringing precision, efficiency, and thoughtful solutions to each project. A strong aptitude for troubleshooting and collaboration allows challenges to be met with practical, well-executed outcomes that benefit both the team and the client.

Since joining Mētis, Ford has primarily focused on residential construction, contributing to a number of standout projects including the Farmer-Brittain Residence, Schultz Residence, Pachuad Residence, and the Grey Residence. More recently, problem-solving skills were put on full display during the dynamic and fast-paced Mio Posto Restaurant repair project, where adaptability and quick thinking were essential to maintaining project timeline and quality standards.  One of Ford’s favorite aspects of working in the trades, is the constant variety. No two days are the same, and each new challenge sharpens technical skills while reinforcing the importance of flexibility and foresight in the field.

Outside of work, Ford enjoys skateboarding, spending time with friends and family, playing tabletop games, and exploring Seattle’s diverse culinary scene.
